Give your Grok Bot team a hive mind
Grok Bot gives you a team of AIs that hand work to each other, and that team gets a lot more useful when every Bot reads from the same source of truth.

A team of AI is only as good as what that team knows.
Grok Bot launched in August, and the idea behind it is simple. You create a Bot, give it a name and a job, and it goes to work on its own cloud computer. xAI's docs suggest jobs like Talent Scout, Expense Manager, and Bug Reproduction. The Bots message each other, hand work off, and keep going while you do something else.
It feels like having a team.
Now imagine that team having access to ALL of your data. Every decision you've made, every process you follow, every note about how your company actually works. A Bot with a clear job is useful. A Bot with a clear job that also knows your business is powerful.
Where the knowledge lives
Grok Bot already thinks about this. Each Bot keeps its own memory of your preferences and the work it has done, and Bots pass context to each other through messages and shared files. There's also a line in xAI's docs that I love: "Memory is not a substitute for an authoritative source."
I love it because an authoritative source is what we built.
Verde.
Verde is a cloud-based memory MCP, what some would call a second brain, a knowledge base, or my favorite, a source of truth. Your knowledge lives in one place, organized into vaults and buckets, and every document is marked public, company, or private. Any AI you connect can search it before it answers and save what it learns when it's done. Today that's Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, or anything else that speaks MCP.
What this looks like for me
This is how I work every day. I brainstorm through conversation with ChatGPT, then build between Claude and Codex (my workflow is kind of all over the place). It works because all three read from and write to the same place. You can even see it in Verde's activity log. Every entry says "Dustin via Claude" or "Dustin via ChatGPT" or "Dustin via Codex," so I always know which AI wrote what.
Here's a small one from today. I spent part of the afternoon capturing how I write. I fed an AI three of my LinkedIn posts, answered a few writing prompts, and told it the phrases I never want to see in a post under my name. The result got saved to Verde as one document. Later, in a completely different session, I asked for a blog post about Grok Bot. The AI searched Verde first, found that document on its own, and drafted in my voice without me telling it where to look.
That's the post you're reading.
Nobody built an integration for that. I saved one document, and every AI I use got better at one thing.
Now do that with a team
So naturally, I keep thinking about what happens when a whole team of Bots works that way.
That's a hive mind. Your Talent Scout learns how you like to hire, and your operations Bot knows it too. A Bot you create next month starts with everything the team has learned so far. Your human teammates are reading from the same source, so the people and the Bots stay caught up with each other.
I'll be plain about where this is. I haven't connected a Grok Bot to Verde yet. Grok Bot is in beta, and I'm still working out the best way in. What I can tell you is that the source of truth side already works, because I've been running my own AI tools on it since we launched in July. I'm having a blast with it, and I'll share what I find as I get my hands dirty!
In an age of data, a team that shares everything it learns is priceless.
